Jesus saith, I am the way, the truth and the life

Theo and Mary Demson came to know God in 1990.

Being aware of life with many problems, our life was very empty.
We were Introduced to a church where help was at hand especially from brothers and sisters in Bracknell.
Eventually we accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour of our lives and began to read the Bible with a fresh revelation and understanding.
God has given us a new heart, inner peace, love and to trust Him through faith and prayer.
In 2001 we began bible house groups in London which eventually led to bibleword.co.Uk
Ou personal relationship is growing daily with Christ as we embrace Him and trust Him with our lives enabling us to preach the Gospel.

Tinashe Desmond Rusike

My name is Tinashe Desmond Rusike, born in Chitungwiza Zimbabwe, but grew up and currently residing in the capital Harare. I gave my life to the Lord at a scripture union camp when I was about 10 years old. I had been going to church but hadn't yet commited my life to Lord. But at this juniours' camp however I saw and felt the love of God in action, even across the races. It moved me. I also distinctly remember hearing a voice calling my name that I hadn't heard before. One of the leaders subsequently explained to me that it was the Lord calling my name and he wanted to invite him in - which I gladly did and the rest is history! I've had the privilege of being involved in evangelistic missions around rural centers in Zimbabwe for over a decade. I'm currently part of the pastoral leadership of Cornerstone Church Harare. My wife Blessing also amazingly gave her life to the Lord at Scripture Union camp as well at about age 11. We then met in college and later got married. Our hearts desire is to reach the lost and to equip the saints to effectively do the same. Many blessings.

Sujith and Janita

My name is Sujith from Sri Lanka. I was Born to a Buddhist family and was very devoted to its teachings from the childhood.
At the age of 13 I felt a strange great joy inside me and I felt like I was guided by someone to answer questions. All those questions were about Life and the meaning of life etc.
I handed over the answer paper to my friend Roshan and I told him I don’t know why but when I was writing the answers, I felt a great joy inside me. He read my answers and said, “Sujith one day you will find the kingdom of God”. I didn’t realize that and said what nonsense that is, there is no God.
After 10 years with many difficulties and I was fed up with the pain and unjustified things that happened in my life and wanted to leave my country.
The strange thing is, I wanted to go to Cyprus. No reason to explain why, nobody was known to me. I got the world map and was touching that country, that one day I should go there.
I lived a sinful life and felt very empty in my heart.
I was introduced to Jesus by Sotos and Eva in Nicosia.
One day in my small room I was having that great dissatisfaction of my life, I was crying alone for few hours which I didn’t realize that I was praying from my heart. Suddenly I felt great light and warmth in my room which was like some one embraced me (not sure whether I was closing my eyes or open.).
I met my wife Janita, a gift from God who was a believer. She helped me to know God more and was a big help in my life. We came back to Sri Lanka and God blessed us in many ways. God blessed us with two children Joshua and Shelomi.
We are serving God while working and He has done many miracles in our lives, he has used our testimony to bring many lives to know Jesus.

Geoff and Margaret Wilson

Geoff and Margaret Wilson live in Somerset. We have been married for 45 years and have proved God’s faithfulness to us.
Margaret became a Christian at the age of 10years old at a summer “Warrior Camp^ run by missionary society W.E.C. . I grew up in a Christian home but this did not make me a Christian and at the age of 14 responded to the Gospel message at a meeting led by Geoffrey King a Baptist minister. .
Margaret and I married in 1976 and it was through the preaching of G.W.North and N.Meeten that we came to real faith in God and heard about and received the Holy Spirit. This ministry and the lives of these men of God made lasting impact on us. We have continued on this journey of faith ever since, discovering God’s love and power working in us every day.
Romans 8 v 28 “ all things work together for good to those who are called according to His purposes”.

Beverly Cullender

I came to know the Lord at the age of 28.
I was married with 2 children.
I had been looking for truth in all different religions and hippy life style. I became very disillusioned with my life because it didn't satisfy me, even though I had a good husband two beautiful children and a lovely old cottage in the country.
I just had to find out there must be more to life than this.
The day I felt like giving up on my marriage to go and find my spiritual partner, God led me in the way, where upon I met an evangelist who pointed me to God. He prayed for me to have my name written in the Lambs Book of Life, and needless to say I went home a complete new person.
18yrs of praying for my husband, he became a Christian through GW North we embarked on mission first going to Mongolia with All For Jesus Mission and going to Africa.
I am now living in Liverpool with my daughter.

Sozo and Des Sozou

We met in London at college and married in 1979, and are now living in Cyprus.
The first time Sozos and I heard about Jesus was in 1981.
A year later we both gave our heart to God and accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour in the Reading Church and have never looked back.
it has been an amazing journey with many blessings as well as disappointments due to our families rejecting us and our faith.
We thank God that our Father in heaven pours out HIS love to all unconditionally on a daily basis.
Following the Lord has been a blessing .
The last 11 years God has opened a door for ministry in India.
He has given us the opportunity to put into practice what we read throughout the Bible, to love, serve the needy and to share the love of God to all we meet.
Our hearts are truly grateful and want to continue serving the best we can as we are heavily involved with our charity transforming lives today.

Ioannis (John)

My name is Ioannis (John) Photiades. I was born in Nicosia, Cyprus. As a young boy I was religious and attended regularly the Greek Orthodox Church. When I was a teenager I started realizing that there was sin in my life. I was very introvert and gradually became very depressed.
At 19 I travelled to Newcastle, England to study. On The first Sunday I was there I attended the service of an Anglican Church. There I heard for the first time the words of Isaiah (Chapter 53) “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all”. I wept much, as I realized that I was lost, and started searching for God. One night I prayed “God, if you exist and you are interested in us men, I want to know the truth from you”. When I read John’s Gospel, verse 14 of the first chapter I read, “And the word became flesh and dwelt among us” and a flash of light, like a mighty lightning shone in my mind. Jesus Christ is the message of God to us, I thought. It was a revelation and my search for God intensified. In 1969, I heard someone mention the Holy Spirit and I asked, “What is this?” A brother invited me to some meetings in a house. A sister shared how the Lord showed her that when Jesus was on the cross and they pierced His side and water and blood came out, it was to do with His Church, the Church came out of His side, as Eve was taken from Adam’s side when Adam was put to sleep. This fascinated me, I turned my thoughts to Jesus on the cross and “saw” the blood coming from His hands and feet and His side. It caused me to realize that I was clean with shouts of joy, “I am clean, I am clean, I have been washed by the blood of the Lamb and I am made white as the snow” and such a joy filled me as I had never before experienced in my
A visitor speaker came to our Christian Union and he spoke from Exodus 20 (the last verses) how the Lord commanded that the altars should not be with steps going up, but low enough, indicating that any one who wanted to give his life to the Lord could do so easily by just “falling” on the altar. After the message I gave my life to Christ. I can only describe it as regeneration, a new creation, God coming to dwell in me. Six months later I finished my studies and returned to Cyprus.
Now, 52 years later, I still go on increasing in the knowledge of God, through Jesus Christ, and witnessing to His faithfulness and love towards us.
